  1. What is your favorite hornline chorale? This could be either something you have performed or something you just think would be pretty cool.
  2. Sorry, I mis-typed. I mean to say..."C on a bugle is the same as CONCERT G (trumpet A)" So, I was right in my thinking. As long as you have the chops though, the note should come out. A lot of times looking at the page and seeing "high" notes can just cause a mental block. A lot of us Soprano-type guys just need to relax and not try so hard....the notes are there.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong. G Bugles sound a perfect fourth below where they are written. Therefore, if you are playing a Double C it is just like playing a G on a Bb trumpet. So if you are playing a High C it is really only a G on top of the staff in terms of actual pitch. Right....Wrong?
  4. I bought the Brass DVD in Denver. It is well worth the $55. They detail a lot of techniques that you always hear about but have trouble learning anything about. Primarily the "Green" style of teaching. Really good stuff.
