I always felt that it was just as, if not, more important, to cheer for, and give stand O, to the early corps. the 15-20 member corps, who have worked just as hard to put out whatever they do. can't imagine what goes through their minds when after finishing their show and feeling satisfied, to just hear crickets

yup....and with holiday weekend traffic, those drives usually take longer than the times you listed
which affects only the Roch column, so narrows the difference between the two

2018 was the first of the two Williamsport years.
The downtown there was great. Perfect for the I&E stuff. The stadium... not so much.
ah, guess I misunderstood Jeff's statement

was 17 first yr in Wmsport? how many didn't return after finding out the stadium faced the sun and, without railings and the bleacher rows so close together, was a deathtrap and didn't return?

interesting. article at DCA site, dated 8/2, reposted in DCPFeed thread here, still says 2pm for Sat start. hope it's clarified before then

unless things have changed, schedule is determined by season standings

The bus driver was one show only and because this corps was one member short. Think he hit wood blocks or something couple times during the performance. Remember a judge watching the pit and supposedly he was checking that everyone in the pit actually did something during the show and not just standing there.
that's better than someone filling in on brass, just holding it to his mouth and trying to mimic the appropriate field steps. pretty sure I've seen that from a here-to-be-unnamed corps

when this comes up, I'm reminded of a corps I saw with 4 brass. kept wondering - is that a square or a circle

I am a streaming idiot; know nothing about it, nor do I expect to learn just to watch drumcorps. what I have seen on Youtube, for example, pales in comparison to live

Received an explanation, but my question wasn’t answered as to why anyone thought it was a good business decision to knowingly lose money instead of making a profit then brag about saving 3k because of the decision made. That’s the deal sweetie!

but it seems a subcommittee of some sort passed it before sending it the the corps to vote on. isn't that the way other major changes have happened? try once, twice, three times...
I still have my "No Amps" t-shirts

Congrats, Fran
