This is one of the new 202's... marching only tuba.

I have a Yamaha 202 Marching Tuba that I have play tested. The horn sounds great...except there is a terrible buzz [like a snare drum snare] that is audible from alow C to bottom line G. Is it just something with this horn or all of the horns? Thanks.

I'm seeking some advice between the Yamaha 202 Marching Tubas and the Dynasty 875 [4/4] marching tubas. Although I have not heard great things about Dynasty horns in general, it is my understanding that the tubas are based on the Wilson model and that the marching tubas are pretty good. Does the 4th valve really make that much of a difference in the overall intonation of the horn? I know BD use Dynasty, but the Cavis,Cadets,SCV,etc. all have used this new model of Yamahas. What is your advice for a high school band?
