Exactly. Good points all. The cost to audition not only includes audition fees but travel costs which can easily be $300 to $500.

Happy Halloween! A scan of the poster from one of the fundraisers the corps used to run. Probably in the late 80's or early 90's.

No offense Mr. Boo but this organization has not had a rock solid foundation for many years. It is common knowledge among volunteers and members that they struggled to make it through the year. Had it not been for the deep pockets of supporters they would have met the same fate as other failed organizations met this last year. The current board of directors is secretive for these reasons. There has been no nurturing of financial security and infrastructure.
