  1. Can I be the first to get your DCI East review? How will I sleep filled with such anticipation and excitement to read your review, kinda like waiting for Christmas morning.
  2. No, I'm sure there will be others that will speculate about a show that hasn't even been put on the field yet!
  3. Well said, you are wise! Good to read some common sense
  4. Just for the records, the members of the Cadets were asked after the 2004 season to express their thoughts on which direction the Cadets design team should head. I'm sure you know that but choose to disregard it because it's the Cadets! You sound so uninformed sometimes.
  5. Well said! I attended camp this past weekend and agree with your statement 100%. The vocal is very cool! I enjoyed watching the vocal coach work with the singer and tweak her performance. Some will not even give this a chance simply because its the Cadets, and that's a shame. I have a feeling though, some who are against vocals in Drum Corps will actually like this (even if they don't admit to it). Kudos to the Cadets for trying some new and refreshing ideas, they are like a breath of fresh air! The Cadets will rock this summer, and you can take that to the bank!
  6. I didn't vote, but I do love Crown 04, great show!
  7. To each their own. For my taste, the Bluecoats drumspeak was an example of amplified voice done very poorly. It placed absolutely zero demand on the performer or the ensemble, and it was downright un-interesting, if not boring. In my opinion, it is absurd to compare the Cadets drumspeak (which involved several performers articulating difficult passages together) with the Bluecoats (which involved one performer repeating the same un-interesting chant over and over). Sorry, Bluecoats had a good corps last year, however, their show was very forgettable and overrated.
