Will do Kevin. I'm taking a friend who has never been to a competition before. His only experience has been playing tuba way back when he was in a little high school.

I love INT. They have a consistent program. Sometimes I am left scratching my head at the end of their show wondering if I "got it".

Ive seen many members over the past few years sent home, some right before championships, due to personal postings and airing laundry.
Yikes. Perhaps those young people learned that in the real world you can lose your job for posting inappropriate things online.

What's up with the judge on the side 1 30 yd line in street clothes? Distracting!

Also, I love that whoever is operating the camera is zooming in when it's called for! Much improved FN! I'm impressed.
You can thank me. During the second corp they were showing the end zone while the corp was in between the 30's. I went to the support chat to have them pass a message to the camera crew to ZOOM. Please, hold your applause, cash expressions of your appreciation are fine.

It might take a couple of more shows to appreciate INT.
I do appreciate minimalism, but INT's show is a tad too minimalistic.

I did a search but couldn't find it, but wasn't there a corp that supposedly ran out of money while on the road and the members were abandoned and had to find their own transportation home? But then I think I remember a staff member writing that it didn't exactly happen that way.

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered it. 1993 was a very good year. The DVD is marked down to $28, but even with picking the lowest priced shipping, the shipping and handling was $13. That is a 46% markup on the cost of the DVD. Surely DCI can do better than that. I can't afford almost a third (32%) of my total order going down the drain.

Today I was on the fan network and checking out the WC Corps samples. When I watched the Troopers 2011 sample I was impressed with their performance. It has to be the loudest and longest chord I have ever heard. Anyone have any comments or additions?

I just found a finals day runthrough video online of Santa Clara's 2009 "Ballet for Martha". The chord near the end is 15 seconds. I saw it live in Arkansas and it had me near tears.
