There’s definitely some etiquette lessons to be learned here.

Signed and shared here, too. This district doesn’t understand how much damage they’re doing by putting a corps out like this. Plus, I want to see more drum corps in NoVa! If we can get enough corps stopping around here to rehearse, maybe we could get a show going!

Looking forward to the next time Regiment and BK meet up. They’ve been neck and neck in separate shows, and it’ll be great to get a read side by side.

I agree with you. But then again, don't the GH Cadets have a tendency to pick "controversial show themes" (MASS, Christmas, Sarah Rogers, etc., etc.) that are hard to sell?
What does the daughter or Rick Rogers have to do with any of this, aside from having marched with the corps a few years back?

Being that 2018 is ten years after Spartacus, how about 'Son of Spartacus: Adolescence'?

Go complain in all caps in the "I Don't Support DCI" Facebook page. You'll find a more receptive audience there, and you won't bother the rest of us.

By the way, as for a fear of DCI appealing to the lowest part of progressive modern pop art I agree with you. The thing is I would love to see a corps like BD or Bluecoats today do a qualitative show based on an extremely qualitative group like 'Here Come The Mummies' with, wait for it, any horns they desire even Bb.
Two words: cowbell feature

BD 1992 - When a Man Loves a Woman makes that show.

Well xan, I just opened up fb, and what do I see but a pic of a bunch of smiling guard members. Guess they got your memo!

They have so many guard they had to reduce their hornline to 60 members (I think that's the number) and amplify them the entire show.
Everything you wrote here is entirely incorrect.

Oh dear god. That's the bus with the food truck crew, isn't it? They are some of the best people you can ever imagine.
Condolences to the family of the driver. Hope the rest recover and stay safe!
That was my first thought as well. Given that they are some of the older members of the Regiment caravan, they are at higher risk with an event like this. Phamily is on my mind and in my heart today.

Sounds like they're going to have one hell of a drive to tonight's show site. :)
