trombone starts with a "t" too and should be added to the instruments. it is more versitile than other instruments cause you can slide it up and down, sounds better too. i would have used the t word all over the place, i wouldnt be afraid of any bandos and guys who didnt make the football team...he he b**bs

well most of the corps were playing dark shows, except for the stadium lights...and some corps had white pants, like the photo above, they werent very dark either.

i think its a cheap trick for Santa Clara Vanguard to yell that every year...at least college band yell something different all the time. I get annoyed when people start clapping for something like that. I also dont like it when they start singing or speaking on the field. They should get penalities for that, its d&b corps, not d&b choir. if they keep that up, i will go back to the gate and demand my money back for false advertising.

i heard tubas, seriously! maybe it was sousafones or maybe it was the trumpets playing real low. and it said dci on the tapes from madison, wisconsin. Madison Scouts were playing some kind of Bad to the Bone rendition and then went into some brassy big band chart, then some sort of classical music, which was pretty boring. dont know about the rest of the corps, but im sure madison had some tubas or sousafones

crown should go and crossmen should come back! it is all political anyway. they know who is going to win and where they will place in june. whichever corps pay off the judges the most...i read it online, i know.

I just finished listening to a recording (cassette tape) of 1986 finals. Were all corps that horrible back then? sometimes you hear nothing but tubas. they should know not to make them louder than the trumpets/flutes, etc. And what is with all mallet percussion, it is so loud! does bell and xylophone parts really need to be so loud?

where in the #### is Selmer? they beat all of those listed...kanstul doesnt even make a saxophone and all you peeps that think that bugles are better...are you insane? bugles were great during the civil war, but you cant get decent low brass sounds out it...there arent even valves!
