Kasey!

Hey guys, I guess that there is going to be quite a crowd from Ohio. Four or five kids from our school, and Steve, and maybe some more. We're all pretty pumped. Maynard show shall.. own. Can't wait to see you guys again, It was sad to leave.. - - Kasey

Well. I guess that I am just going to make this short. I want to thank all of you for my few months with the Empire Statesmen, along with my first drum corps. experience. It meant a lot to all of the Ohio crew, Patrick, Blaise and I, that we were welcomed so fast. We all wish you an amazing season, since we already know the music is absolutly insane, and I know that Atleast I will be coming to see you when you are here in Ohio. And maybe I'll end up at finals. =] Once again, good luck on an amazing season, and thank you for letting me be a small part of it for the time that I was.

I shall see you all this weekend!

I would like to thank everyone for an amazing weekend... and of course... the most worth while sore muscles I have ever experienced. See you in two weeks!

From the looks of it, we have a ride. So, It's all good. See some of you tomorrow night, and the rest of you on Saturday!

I don't know if any of the kids from the Ohio group are going to be coming up in January. As of now there are only three of us. A bass drummer, a soprano, and myself coming up for the first time, and due to lack of participants... we aren't getting a van, and transportation is a problem. So if we don't see you, have an amazing weekend!

The Ohio group may not be attending unfortunatly... Not even close to as many people that siad they were going... are actually able to come... so there are 4 of us kids, Steve, and a few percussionists... and we don't think we can get the van. Maybe we'll see you first camp, maybe second?

We all see how much he loves it. He loves our band, but he just has this attitude when it comes to talking about Statesmen. He adores it, and so many of us look at Steve like not only a friend.. but a hero for the most part, and we all want to be able to experience what it is that he loves so much. I would be happy doing this the rest of my life, and I have only been to one camp, along with the two drummers that were with me, and for the most part... the people who are making the effort to go up, all feel the same.

And Steve is coming as far as I know.

Yeah, you met me... kind of... You told me I was really skinny already because I wasn't eating anything at lunch on Sunday. I just really don't get hungry very often... I usually don't eat until around 3 in the afternoon for my first meal of the day. Gah.

There are quite a few kids that are planning on coming up. I am in charge of coming up with the list and getting it to Steve... but I know of... One soprano who is For sure, and two who might. Myself for mello and maybe one other Alto Sax to mello transfer, Greg and Alesha for Bari, and... I think two percussionists are coming for sure. We are all pretty excited... we just think that December should be shortened.

From a rookie's point of view... the camp was amazing. Being from a small school... that half the band is woodwinds.. and there aren't many brass players, it was soooo incredible to be a part of that. There are more kids from my school coming up for the next camp. I can't wait! People might somewhat know who I am... hehe. <3
