Please Read Before You Post
If you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter)
If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint.
When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit...
C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE??
Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere.
Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to:
Thanx in advance!
All that said and out of the way..
I guess you're giving up on #428. The lady in #428 is Sonny Cohen.
And the person in the forground in #429 looks VERY much like the son of my dearest Drum Corps buddy from years ago.

fusion is doing havre de grace, dundalk, towson, arbutus, catonsville and bel aire.
Not bad. You should net about 8-10 grand.
On the 3rd after havre de grace we'll be hangin at the harbour.
If you mean the Inner Harbor in Baltimore check out Phillips Seafood Restaurant. They've been there for 30 years and are closing in September. They're an institution there.
Don't know of any Harbour Restaurant or Bar & Grill in Havre de Grace and I shoot pool in a league there a couple times a week, so I guess you're talking about the Inner Harbor.
-
Windsor Regiment will be participating..
Which parade(s)? There are 7 (I believe) parades in the Baltimore area that weekend.
-
Reilly Raiders and Archie are doing the Havre de Grace parade on July 3rd. Not sure if I'll be marching with both, depends on how far apart they are. Then I'll be with Bridgemen up in Milltown, NJ on July 4th.

is she not a registered nurse?
Geez good question Tom. I really don't know. I've know her for years and never knew if she worked or not. She and her husband Al were married, divorced and remarried again. She really is a wonderful person. Lives in South Jersey not far from Carol and John "Duke" Terreri.

Hello?
no guesses on the lovely lady featured?
Her husband (she is a widow) was a member of both the Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights and the Reilly Raiders. He was a charter member of the Reilly Raider Alumni Corps.

I'm sure you do ... I put the dvds in my bag for the next time I see you.........
Try to stay cool...........
Played TAPS for a WWII vet today up in Gettsyburg. On the way back to Maryland the car thermometer read 102. Gotta get the AC compressor fix ASAP.
Should see you at Cabs show up in Wayne. Thanks!!!!

Pete, your correct it was Jack Meehan till the middle of the season, then It was Harry Hazelwood.
In 1961 it was Harry and Hy............
Thanks for clearing that up Jim. OH!!! And I don't need to borrow that uniform you offered me at SAC's show, I have one of my own.

-
Could be, I'm not sure.I believe it was Jack Meehan.

Thanks for the update Mike. Sure sounds like Pepe with that raspy in your face style. Guess Hy handed the technique down to him.
Yeah, I guess he did.
Now, is that Tommy Martin on the sop solo in Ritz as I would think?
Nope. Tommy Martin only marched 1 year with the New York Skyliners I believe, 1963. I think it's Swan doing the sop solo but not sure.

-
A Sky Alumni feature and Diceman playing the 1960 Dream with the Skyliners playing Puttin' On the Ritz and Pepe attacking the crowd with his french horn. How good is that?
The french horn solo in "Puttin' on the Ritz" wasn't Pepe, it was Hy Dreitzer. Pepe was a solid lead soprano back then. He didn't switch to FH until 1963-64 when Hy went to arranging fulltime. Just sayin'.

if it's who I think it is, I refuse to say because saying she babysat me will get me into trouble for revealing her age
I don't think you know who you think it is.

Thank you.
Happy Birthday young man. Will you be in Wildwood this weekend?

Mike would march that parade with more than one in his list if he could...
To be honest, this past weekend, after a parade with Reilly on Saturday, 6 hours of drill rehearsal with Bridgemen on Sunday AND 2 parades with Bridgemen on Monday I developed plantar faceitis (sp) and was in extreme pain Monday night and Tuesday. When to the doctor this afternoon. He told me I over did it. (Silly me ) He gave me some exercises to do and told me to use Alleve. It seems to be getting better but still tender. If my foot heals up well enough I'll try to help Archie out. Gotta spread the wealth, so to speak.
Look for Mr Siglow to be in the lead line of the Bridgemen Alumni!!
Even if I have to crawl!!!!!

and of course the great mike siglow i presume........
Yes Don, I'll be there. Don't know how great I'll be but I WILL be there.
P.S.: Gotta see if Dennis pees his pants again. BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA

Off-topic, I know (not that it ever happens here...LOL)... but for the folks who've been to the Elks weekend in Wildwood in recent years, how many corps are in the parade?
Sounds like a whole bunch. Maybe that will be the best guess.
Sure about:
Bridgemen
Reilly
Archie
Cabs Alumni
Skyliners Alumni
Pretty sure about:
Melrose
SAC
Not sure about:
Park City Pride

Did some one actually post who #2 is for our # 426? (Sorry if I messed it) I know and I know a lot of us do but did some one post his name?
Yeah Tom Peashey named him. It was Bobby Thompson.

Thanks Mike...
(I can only take credit for turning the recorder on....)
AH yes,... the "magic" right index finger.
-
No Nanci. He is "a" queen, not "the" queen.
And by the way, at Sunday's practice Curt and George wre having a bit of trouble hitting some of the higher notes, so they asked if I would sit directly in front of them and pretend that I'm Siglow. I can't tell you what I did to enhance my Siglow impression, but it worked!!
Hhhmmmm!!!!! Time to up the meds again. 50 mgs of Haldol just isn't doing it any more.

-
I'm confused. Are you the Queen now?
Sorry hon, of course YOU are the one and only queen.

Yours in Corps,

GREAT job Tony. The audio portion was great. Listened to a couple of the Corps and it seemed to really capture the true essence and quality of the horn lines in attendance. Excellent!!!!!!
