Kinda of makes you wonder whether the activity is in fact gravitating towards the "super corps" idea that's been tossed around by a certain director that is loathed by many on DCP. First, let's segregate Div II/III into their own shows. Then let's keep Div II/III out of the regionals. Then let's keep them from competing in Quarterfinals. Then let's host their performances on the same days as Div I. Then let's cut the non-top 12 corps from the CD's. More and more focus on only the top tier corps. I do appreciate that the profits from the ADP sales go directly to the corps themselves (I hope this will be true for the Semi-Finals and Quarterfinals recordings too); however, I do not like the apparent snub to the corps that didn't make the cut for Finals.

OR….it could be the fact that CD sales are going down as more and more people are only buying digital music. I haven’t bought a CD in the last year after purchasing an iPod.

I've watched Blue Devils rehearse and saw them last night in Columbus. I really didn't think they were that loud. If I would have to rank them last night for volume, it would have been

1. Crown

2. SCV

3. Blue Devils

I'd have to go with Cadets. I LOVE the voice!

Phantom would be a close second.

hmmm...I agree. I really liked the History Repeating vocals when I saw them in San Antonio. I hope this change is worthwhile.

What percentage of the members currently marching 'Coats, Glassmen, and Cap Reg are actually from the state of Ohio?

I'm not sure what the numbers are now, but in San Antonio in 2003, the Bluecoats were announced as the "Bluecoats from Canton, Ohio AND Cedar Park, Texas"

They also announced that there were 51 (or was it 54?) members in the corps from Texas.

That's a pretty big percentage!
