Dawn Maie, also please check out for the Jet Stream in the upper stratosphere, so that the airplanes save 80% of Kerosin and the ticket prices for continental flights drop to 100 US$ roundtrip. Camp is over. All bones are hurting, brain is like soft cake, BUT camp was great. You can really get addicted to that. :-) On saturday the weather god wasn't with us again. Rain, rain, rain but nobody complain. We brought a lot of dots to the field - drill and music. We focused on Round Midnite witch gets better and better. Redone Taxi Driver. Yeahhhhh! So in two camp weekends I've marched everything witch is already written. Just the end of the show I have to learn AND to bring the rest in mind. Hope to be back soon. Two more days in the New World and the old world got me back. Can't wait to see my wife and daughter again. Thx to all who supported me. Especially: Sara Julian for letting me stay in NYC and for all the rides to and off the airport. Dave Keck & Family for letting me have some really nice days between the camps. Evan, does your video Camera has an FireWire connector? If yes it might be possible to capture the best parts of the Drill and to make a DVD or an SVCD out of it. It's much cheeper (especially an SVCD, because it use a standart CD-R) AND we can change the Norm. Damon and me need the video in PAL not in NTSC. So please check if your camera has a FireWire Connector. Thx a lot

April, that is the "Superlativ" of goosebumps. Listening and marching "Taxi Driver" was like a flash-back. We had the Blue Devils in Germany in 2000. That year they played "Taxi Driver" and I stoud beside the field and thought to myselve, marching this tune once, has to be amazing. And here we go, 5 years later the dream comes true. CU all next camp.

FIRST !!!!!!! Camp was great, a lot done. Taxi Driver give goosebumps - no ice pickles. Can't wait for next camp to lern the next drill. Maybe we have some time for some extra sectionals. This line should kick ### and I don't wanna be the ######## messing around. Rehersals at home are fine, but are nothing in comparision to some extra sectionals. Maybe we find some night time hour. We will have fun this weekend. Work hard - party hard!

I'm not thinking to post a german flag here. Wish all a great weekend. The time is ticking. Tomorrow my little girl has her 4th birthday and I have to survice a garden party with 10 !!!! 4 to 6year devils. If I survive this I can stay the next 2 weeks with no problems.

Shure he would.... and he would also be a man on his mission .... Dave if you read this, I still think of the ride up to camp in 2003. Bobby Brown, Tower of Power and a Doctor witch has his hands on the stearing wheel 2 or 3 times from NYC to 'cuse. A ride I never forget in my live. One week to go !!!!

Evan, you are right. Astro Turf is the Porsche of the fields. Marched once in my livetime on Astro and I thought I was flying across the field. Much better than the field in Reading, PA in 2001 where you have to climb up the innings (is that the word for the mud places on a basball field?).

I have to wait for another more week. Luckily this saturday is my little daughter 4th birthday. She was 5 month old and listen to DCA Finals in 2001. So maybe in 11 or 12 years we can march senior together, if my bones are still OK. Please do a good recording this weekend when Wayne is in. Need something to listen to.
