I've got a seven-month jump on that picture: Awesome, I remember seeing the Mariners once. Can't remember where or when. It must have been late 60's or early 70's. Didn't someone shoot a flare or fireworks out of the end of a rifle? I remember Captain Crunch being most entertaining. :)

Nisei (69 or 70) The year is about right. The pic came from a Dec 1970 issue of DCD. I have know idea who the corps is are you sure it's Nesei? I was hoping someone could ID this photo.

I think the coachmen were from Grand Rapids. They were definately not from Flint. The Sags did have something going. In 1978 we won U.S. Open class A & V.F.W. Natinonals. Our hornline was very competative in 1979 beating hornlines like Cavaliers & Kilties early in the season.
