yeah its gonna be amazing... im already planning the schedule out... BD warm up for quarterfinals. Phantom for semis... and watching all the corps perform for finals. i can't wait

007 hands down. that is the only other cavaliers show that i would say was even close to as good as frameworks. i found the music in machine to be extremely sub-par.

06 The Academy, one of those runs in the ballad to a sustain, WHOLY CRAPPERS
good call on the academy. i saw them three times this year... the sound they produced at their home show was mind boggling. especially in the ballad. they sounded like a div 1 corps

1993 phantom, during fire of eternal glory
1996 blue devils, opening note
2003 phantom, during the final chord.
2004 cavies, during the ballad around 8:30ish
2005 blue devils, first note

1. Blue Devils- I can't even describe how much I love this show. I don't think the movie could have been portrayed any better into the show. the score is phenomenal, and the reprise was so great, especially when they held out the first three notes.
2. Phantom Regiment- the climax of the ballad is amazing, and its nothing short of that. listening to the echo of that note is orgasmic.
3. Carolina Crown- Their balance is mind boggling
i also liked SCV and scouts

i wasn't a big fan of how theatrical phantom's show was, but they had some amazing moments. ave maria was done perfectly, i just wasn't a big fan of the "theme" of the show. i guess i'm partially biased because i love the music from godfather.

personally i thought that machine was a horrible show, and didn't display much emotion or musicality. I was wondering what some other thoughts were, i think that visually, phantom had a dirty show, however their music was amazing. Blue Devils all around were phenomenal, and had the best theme as well. i'm not really sure how their GE scores aren't higher than cavies, they had the best theme and the most emotional show.

Here is my top 5, not necessarily in order
1. 2004 Cavaliers (8:39 in the finals video)
2. 1996 Phantom Regiment (10:20 in the finals video) (the amazing chord build, you all know it)
3. 2003 Phantom Regiment (11:22 in the finals video)
4. 1993 Phantom Regiment (8:12)
5. 2006 Blue Devils (11:23, the final chord in the show... listen for the trumpets on count 9)

this is a tough one. they both have lots of power and emotion. however, i would have to give the slight edge to 89, due to the amazing company front at the end... i get goosebumps everytime i watch it
