  2. b**bs Wow is an apt description Mitch! What a fun day and performance by HCB at DATR! We played public domain pieces, but the crowd reacted very wel! Opener: Procession of the Nobles, Concert: Batle Hymn of the Republic (welcome back Troopers), Ballad with drill: America the Beautiful (What old school fan doesn't love this chart?) and The Star Spangled Banner as the closer. Fun stuff! Looked good and I think our mighty horn line blew the doors off the stadium! See you guys soon! Thanks for the support. We start planning and selection of winter/ spring show pieces next week. Looking at performing at at least 6-8 winter guard and percussion shows this winter.   15. Hey, I'm planning on going to Prelims and finals in Rochester and am trying to figure out the Nearest large city airport. Going into Rochester from Denver takes about 10 hours Via Atlanta so I'm looking for an alternative airport. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mike Ryan b**bs

  17. WOW! We've finally got our show on the field! We've been working hard on our music for this summers performances. Sounding good and LOUD and will look great by late June! Glad they have Advil after drill sessions though! Rehearsals at Rangeview H.S. in Aurora,CO Sundays 12-4. Come check us out if you're in the area. We have 39 registered members in the Corps. Looking for a few more altos, guard members and a snare player, Ill buy some plates too, if your so inclined! SO... if your interested in performing this year with HCB, sign up on our website WWW.highcountrybrass.org. before June 15th or else. We're only going to take alternates after this date due to drill limitations. Hurry up if you've been waiting to see whats going to happen.   18. Mitch you're a nut, but I know what you mean! HCB is the most fun I've had with my clothes on for a long time. We've got a guy from the Cadets coming on Sunday and a couple of old time Troopers too! Should be fun! Getting ready to run another uniform order too! Mike Ryan
  19. This year, so far, has been a huge growth year for HCB. WE still have some horns and plenty of guard spots available. Anyone in the Colordo Front Range still looking for a place to perform this summer and fall should check out the HCB website for registration info and upcoming events schedule. hope to see you at a rehearsal soon!   20. High Country Brass is set to open the finals for the Rocky Mountain Percussion Association at the Budweiser Events center in Loveland, Co on Saturday April 7th, 2007. If you're in the area come on by and check us out. We are getting larger and stronger with every performance! We are scheduled to go on at 5:00pm. Hope to see you there! Happy Easter to all!   21. We just got official word this evening that HIGH COUNTRY BRASS will be performing the opening at Drums Along The Rockies July 28th 2007 in Denver! This is a great opportunity for our corps to gain some National exposure! We're all looking forward to a great evening here in Denver. Hope to see some of you at the show!
