Yeah, even in the corps' 990, which is the only filing they're legally required to share, rebates owed to members would probably just be lumped in with all the organization's liabiliites.
And even then, those won't be available until way after the fact, too. They're typically a full season behind because of when they get filed, any extensions, etc.

Crossmen 02. The entrance from the corner of the stadium alone was cool to watch.

This was a bit challenging, but here's what I got:
1 Cadets 2000
2 Star 93
3 BD 06
4 Crown 08
5 Glassmen 99
6 BK 15
7 SCV 92
8 Blue Stars 10
9 Crossmen 02
10 Madison 01
11 Bluecoats 91
12 Spirit 03
13 Colts 14
14 Pac Crest 19
I found it was easier starting with the first show that came to mind for placements and working from there.

Phantom needs to learn how to sustain long tones. Especially the trumpets. I’m sorry, but that was so painful to listen to while they’re sustaining. If they don’t get that cleaned up by prelims, then there is a clear and easy opening for Spirit to walk through.

I saw that Crossmen are trying to get the crowd involved in their stomp and clap section. I wonder how much the word got out to the crowd today.

The ballad from Academy is definitely one of my favorites of the year. Such a great soloist and arrangement! And I echo what others have said about their uniforms. Nice and sharp.

Such a great show from Surf this year! Fun and entertaining, and performed at a quality level! Probably one of the best shows I’ve ever seen from Surf.

Loving this Pacific Crest show! So much energy! Regardless if they’re able to gain enough on Colts between tonight and next week that they jump to 15th and edge into the theater broadcast, there’s going to be one REAL good show left out from the theater this year.

Troopers unis remind me a lot of the Spirit ones from 2011-2013. They also have a lot more of the baby blue run Spirit does this year, too.

Has Genesis ever played the music of Genesis?
I missed the name of this show. It's seems to be about NYC or something. I'm not sure the grey pants help the corps proper visually. They need a few more colored accents besides the tie.
Agreed on the gray making it hard to stand out. But at the same time, at least in this day and age of new uniforms every year and not being able to tell who is who if you miss the announcements, at least Genesis is one of those that is somewhat more consistent with color/design than others. I can tell looking at them that this is Genesis without having to ask.

I love the staging of that ballad impact for Genesis. I just wish the trumpets weren’t at the top/back so they would have lower voices behind them to listen to so they could blend the moment more. But as a visual picture, it’s very creative and I love it!

Music City has a nice show and all, but it just doesn’t pack the same punch as last year. I loved what they did last year and it was always fun to watch. Today’s run seemed kind of flat compared to last week, in my opinion. If Genesis has a good run, they might be able to pull away from Music City a bit.

Why would they get penalized for traffic? That’s not anything in your control, even if you plan extra time to get there early and it’s still that bad.

They come on after Madison scouts.
I assume they get a penalty. No?

Cavies were also 4th in 2009. No corps was a medalist for all 10 years in the decade.

FYI ... I'm sitting in my hotel room and I can not see the building next door because of how hard it is raining. It would have been a mess if a corps was on the field during this deluge of Biblical proportions
As much as I hate to say it (because I was really hoping to see Mandarins (non-standstill), BD, and SCV...it was the correct call by DCI and the corps. Radar looked bad, and then when the rain really picked up, I hope everyone had already loaded up so they weren’t still loading in that rain.

Go Crossmen . This whole leg of the tour has been stalled score wise . Time to open it up . Midwest judges ????

Last tile the corps was in the Midwest this time of year, 2013, I believe, members I talked to said the crowds were underwhelming compared to those on the New England or west coast swings. I wonder if that’s the case again this year and if that’s having any impact?
I also wonder if there’ll be a difference with the scores going back to back with Phantom instead of several corps apart. They were only .2 behind just a few days ago!

One more chance, but looks like Blue Stars will win the battle this year. They made the changes they needed, whether execution or design, to get back ahead.
Or it also could just be the way the runs/panels worked out. Still within striking distance with a new panel tomorrow. If Bones brings it...

Most corps make SOME changes that are unveiled in the final three shows. Can we speculate on what changes the Crossmen may make?
Options I've thought of:
- None at all. Just clean, clean, clean
- More modifications to the props. Different colored cloth?
- A cross in the drill? This is the first time in recent memory a Crossmen drill doesn't have a cross in it.
- Something to bolster the part of the show that, IMO, drags a little--the part after the opening statement and before the change in tempo.
- Slight arrangement changes to bolster the content score
2015 didn't have a cross.

you guys are slightly different... haha. Saturday rehearsal is at Downingtown, yes?
From everything I've seen and heard, yes, Downington on Saturday. Says so as well on the website calendar for the housing.

any idea why Crossmen have 2 housing sites?
The second one is where they are staying Saturday night into Sunday because of their annual banquet which they have started holding the Sunday after DCI East in Allentown since 2014 with the 40th anniversary celebration.

PR's brass line is so rough, even when the group playing the hard music is standing still.
I really don't understand how they're beating Blue Stars and Crossmen in brass. Both on Flo and live it's just way rough all around.

This is waaaay too long for them to not notice. This is ridiculous. You would think after the screw-up with Crossmen a couple weeks back they would make sure to never screw up the sound like that again.

I believe this is the year they started stepping off with the right foot because of the mixed meter. It was a way to break old habits and trick the brain. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm completely wrong, though.
