Just as an appendage to all of your wonderful comments. I was fortunate enough to get to see their excitement after their performance. My guard was entering the tunnel for our finals performance as the Florida Special Olympics CG was exiting the tunnel. As we were standing there they just began talking to us and telling us about their performance. They were OVERJOYED!!!. We were all so happy for them. It was a moment the I will always remember as a part of of my WGI finals experience because it made me really realize what this activity is all about. That is, the LOVE of performance and possibility to experience the once-in-a-lifetime connection that is made between each member and the crowd. They are incredible!!! Thank you Florida Special Olympics CG for giving me and everyone else in my colorguard a memory that will put this activity in perspective for the rest of our lifes.
