By the way the field on Saturday was freakin awesome. I think I left behind a spat in the mud around the 35 yard line. wooohoooo
The field was better when you suddenly lay down. Dan I waved at you when you went past my wreck. Do you know how much the dry cleaner wanted when he saw the mud and counted the pleats.

When I age out of DCI, I'm going to start marching DCA. Exactly what would the current members here say to recruit a pit/snare person to the Kilties?

The best way to decide if you like a corps is to visit.
What I encourage you do is check out a few all age corps and decide where you fit.
The Kilties pride ourselves on being an inculsive family. If you wish to join us our staff will find the appropriate place for you in our group.

The 61/2 or the 51D are great for small bore horns, but I prefer a Dennis Wick 4AL for my Bass Bone or my Kanstul Euph.

I like it alot better than a practice mute because you are able to listen more or less accurately. It is quiet enough for apt complexes and dorms, wish they were around when I was in school.

yeah, but where do you get one for baritone??
I looked and looked but I finally had to make my own.

I tested Trombone (too small) euph (Too big) French horn(wrong shape) at the brasswind I ended up getting the Trombone setup and adding extra foam padding. It works great.
