Alter Ego's Audition Weekend is less than two weeks away!! There is a $30.00 audition fee for the weekend. (Snacks and a late lunch will be provided both days.) Please make checks payable to Alter Ego Color Guard. Packets with information about the upcoming season will be distributed Saturday afternoon. After coming off an exciting and undefeated 2008 season, Alter Ego Color Guard is gearing up and making plans for 2009!! Over the past few months there has been a thorough examination as to the possibilities for next year, and the future of the Alter Ego Organization. While still under evaluation with the W.G.I. Review Committee after attaining the 2008 Independent Open Class Gold Medal; Alter Ego has decided to entertain the need for expansion of the program, and put two color guards out on the floor in 2009. While waiting to make an official announcement, we encourage performers of ALL ages to email AlterEgoCG@gmail.com for more information. You will receive an automated response asking you to fill out and email back a brief questionnaire; so that we can get an idea of potential members and their backgrounds. Once the questionnaire has been sent back, you will be added to our distribution list and receive regular updates over the next few months. We have been hearing from a lot of old members who want to return, and many new, potential members who want to join the Alter Ego family. Old or new, please send an email to the above address so we can keep you updated. Important information pertaining to summer clinics, staff announcements, and audition dates will be released shortly. September is just a few short months away, and we look forward to getting an early start to an exciting 2009 season!! Alter Ego would like to thank The Academy for helping us fold our floor on Saturday afternoon. After carrying the floor outside, the high winds were not cooperating and the floor kept parachuting upward. The Academy members were on the way back to their busses after retreat and saw that we needed help. Without even asking they stepped right in and helped fold the floor. Thanks again and congratulations!!

LOL...you made me do the math in my head...Opener was written for 30(There are 28 in the flag block, but don't forget Jen and I) then we have one flag hole - 1 = 29 that is being filled this weekend(surprise new person! YAY!!) + 1 = 30 + Matty Bo Batty = 31 =)

There are actually 31 now, but not everyone spins the entire show so it's hard to keep up...lol =)
