  1. Spirit's DM unis are kinda bland compared to what the rest of the corps is wearing.
  2. Hung releases? Really? It was so awesome until someone just had to be heard.
  3. This. I think the opener hits you in the face as it should, but after that it's just too "all over the place" for me.
  4. Bluecoats. Wow. I'm sure there are more than a few ringing ears in the first few rows right now.
  5. 100 high school kids just simultaneously asked "Oh muh gaw why are those people booing?".
  6. You posted while I was typing, so you beat me to it. Glad to know I'm not alone.
  7. Please tell me I'm not the only one who laughed at this when Boo posted it on his live blog.
  8. Th Cadets' brass sounded better today. This show is growing on me.
  9. Unfortunately, they squashed him while running onto the field from the other Geico tunnel. Poor little fella.
  10. Tonight's Phantom Regiment exit is brought to you by Geico.
  11. I'm sure the people who paid $75.00 to sit in a bathroom in Minneapolis for half the day share your sentiments. Domes are not THAT bad. I performed two BOA's, one SEC title game and on Chik-Fil-A Bowl in the Georgia Dome. I've also attended the last four Southeastern Championships in the dome and have yet to have a devastating echo story to share. I swear some people treat domes and drum corps like professional golfers treat noise during their swing...
  12. Mine seems fine. Mine actually looks slightly better than usual.
  13. I would rather not. It's the 5th or 6th time I've heard/seen this show and it will be the last time until I'm in LOS on the 14th. It's two minutes of "Oh yeah!" followed by 9-10 minutes of bleep boop blop WAAAAAA.
  14. I figured whether I gave permission or not I was getting flamed. This is actually the first time I've been let down by a BD show. The Blue Devils were the first drum corps I ever saw and maybe those two factors combined is why I'm so frustrated at this show. I just think this is one of the least coherent, least entertaining shows I've seen and it's coming from one of my favorite corps.
  15. Jazz is quite capable of containing melody. Jazz can also be entertaining. The last 10 minutes of BD's show contains neither.
  16. In my book yes. I'm sorry, and you BD homers can flame me all you want, but that is just sad. That show seems like it's being made up as they play it. Af ther the first two minutes, there is no coherent musical thought. I've never seen a drum corps show so weird that it's frustrated me, but BD is getting there.
  17. Performing their 2010 program "Well try anyway!" Drum Corps International is proud to present. INT!
