i believe your forgetting the cabs.

Cabs didn't march DCA Finals in 1965, the very first year of DCA. Bucs won that show

I said Bon Bons. They were pretty, but as I guy in a co ed corps I hated competing against them. Nothing like being clobbered by an all girl corps..."Oh, You like the rough stuff" (Scrooged)

However, I thought the prettiest girls were in the Royaleer Mounties, Haddonfield NJ, hands down! Sorry Robbie, we're talking whole corps here.

Mounties without question. When I was in Manville Crusaders in 68 alot of the guys from my corps hooked up with the girls from Haddonfield. Lorraine Young where ever you are a big kiss and a hug. 14 Was a good year.

Not sure an opera is supposed to "smack you in the face", but after being in a 64 man hornline last year with some dead weight, I'll take my hornline this year that is quality vs quantity. Do we have work to do? Sure, all corps do at this point.

I hope you come to another show some point this season Bucbari, and have a better opinion of ALL the corps marching. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I know I know cabs, only June and I loved Cabs Carmen and I'm sure it will hit me before the end of the year. And I will be at other shows this year and I'm sure that I will have a better opinion of everyone. Mea culpa mea culpa if you thought I was flaming any corps.....lol

I saw the show and for the most part was very disappointed. Bucs are ready, Statesmen will be ready but it seems that everyone else wasn't ready for the start of the season and are struggling with very thin sounding horn lines. I know, I know its only june but I was still disappointed. This was the first show i've seen and it was only the 2nd show for some of these corps. I think DCA is heading for a down year frankly. No one except Bucs and Statesmen smacked me in the face.
