So much misinformation  is posted on DCP daily, that I can't be expected to correct the record on here ALL the time... ( lol!)

Boston has practice/ audition " camps " in Vermont, Massachusetts, Florida, Texas. ( locations can sometimes vary a bit from year to year )   Boston's most extensive pre seaaon " rehearsal" practice camps however,  and by far, are in New England..., and have been for decades. This past season, Boston's largest bulk,  of its pre season practice rehearsals took place in the Boston region. (  approx 90% of it ).  These move in camps for the Boston Crusaders took place this pre season, 3-4 hours drive north of Boston,... in Castleton, Vermont. Thanks for allowing me to correct any misinformation you might have had on this.

    Hello pot, meet kettle.

  2. These were 3 that got me laughing enough back in early season to save them.

"Judy Jetson has got to go.  I've heard better singers in the first round of American Idol."

    (Poppycock about Crown)

"Costume: more shock, as a dinosaur I’m not into the entire costume / uniform debate, it if looks good and works, cool. Cadets' first 2 outfits work, the third needs a gold sash or cummerbund to give them definition at the waist and shape their bodies.  As is, they look they need their diapers changed in their onesies because they don’t fit."

    (Cowtown about Cadets opening night)

"Never thought the Blue Devils, the bleeping Blue Devils would have some semblance of a traditional uniform but yet fit with the design of their shows. Oh wait, they have been doing this for almost 10 years. It took this season of other corps really pushing the uniform envelope for me to finally appreciate what I resisted all along with BD. Go figure."

    (Jeffe77 about BD opening night)

  3. Speaking of popsicles...

If anybody from Alabama (or the Southeast or any place really) would like to chip in $ for a very special unique surprise for the corps when they are in Birmingham, AL, please send me a private message. I'm hoping we can get enough people to contribute to make it feasible.

Those who are seeing Boston's 2017 show now for the 1st time and have made the comment that there is" so much going on simultaneously with this show" are expressing exactly my thoughts when I first saw the show at the end of camp move ins in June, Since then Boston has added in more to the show, so I can just imagine the visual/ musical stimulai now. The show can be seen multiple times and assures viewers more treats. The show flows so well that the 11 or so minutes of the show seems to just fly by.

    I agree 100%.
