Speculation and innuendo fuels DCP discussion. As for details, there are those on those calls who are willing to speak to others. Coming to discussion boards to discuss things is just that, on face value. Here's another "tease" to speculate on; the vote was for some sort of a three day "showcase in a bubble" in Indy, in August.

My understanding is there was a vote last night regarding moving forward with options or canning another season. If so, then the news for the next few days will spark some good discussion, regardless the outcome.

Calling it now. This contract will now allow for corps to be "encouraged" to use Flo as the platform to conduct video auditions, etc. For a small fee (of course).

I was at a Troopers camp in 2014 and asked Robert W. Smith about Brian Wilson's music. I suggested that "Heroes and Villains" might make a fun encore for the Troopers, not unlike how the Blue Knights do "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You". He cocked his head like a German Shepard, and looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my head and said he doubted anyone had the kind of money to get permission to perform a Brian Wilson song in today's environment.

The member corps basically govern themselves. DCI is a show producer/promoter. Others could fill the void.

If a massive delay to the summer, would it look something like:
ST > June 7-30
All June contest canceled
July 1 - contests begin
Or something else?
Or an even shorter season/tour >>
June 8-July 11 ST
July 12 schedule resumes / or regional schedule with no nationalized tour breaking corps into 4 groups
then head to Nats
Or >
season canceled and all get an extra year of eligibility?

DCI Needs to update FANS attending Indy 2021

Shouldn't be too hard to figure out. I'd wager money that this was decided months ago. Look at who came out this year, where they finished in 2019 and whether or not they committed to Indy. That will most likely be your performance order. DCI is nothing if not predictable... with or without judging.
