I think the HD war is over now. Blu-ray has most likely won after this week's announcements.
And unfortunately, it will only push sales of the PS3.
Well the PS3 is a much better quality product and atleast the playstation network stays up all the time (ive been kicked off xbox live atleast once a day the past month...) So i think its better that blu-ray won!
