The Northwind Indoor Color Guard of the Greater Lehigh Valley will be holding a final Open Membership Rehearal. This will be on Sunday 10/25/09 from 12-6pm. The Northwind Indoor Color Guard of the Greater Lehigh Valley will be having preseason open membership rehearsals on Sunday 9/13, 9/27, 10/11, & 10/25 2009. The open membership rehearsals are located at the Catty Park, St. John Street. in Catasauqua, PA from 1-4pm This is rehearsal is for new and returning members. HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER: The Northwind Indoor Color Guard has a NO TURNAWAY Policy. That means there are NO auditions!! All we look for is a willingness to work hard (strong work ethic), the ability to learn new things, and a desire to compete in a positive, FUN atmosphere. Please remember to wear comfortable clothing. Our goal is to put on the floor as many as possible this season. We travel to shows in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and we compete in the Tournament Indoor Association, Chapter 2 in the Greater Lehigh Valley. The Northwind Indoor Color Guard of the Lehigh Valley, PA will be holding a "Rock & Bowl" Fundraiser on Friday evening February 20th 2009, at NORTHAMPTON LANES, 326 Main Street, Northampton, PA from 9:30pm-1:00am. The Northwind Indoor Color Guard, based in the Lehigh Valley PA, currently has openings for the 2008-2009 winter guard season. The 2009 show is entitled "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. We have already begun rehearsals in August and September. Our next rehearsal is going to be on Sunday October 19th 2008 between the hours of 10:00am-2:00pm. The location will be posted on our website. We will be competing in the cavalcade Indoor Assocation and the Tournament Indoor Association and we will also possibly be attending a WGI Regional this coming season. We are looking to put 10 performers on the floor and there are still plenty of spots open. We will be closing membership in Late November, so reserve your spot today! The Northwind indoor Color Guard is the 2008 TIA Chapter 2 Independent Novice Champions and the 208 TIA All-Chapter Championship finalist. Membership is open to all young men and women ages 14-22. THERE ARE NO AUDITIONS!!! We have professional instructors that care about the performer as well as the performance. We are also a low cost alternative to most independent winter guards. We also have fundraisers to help defray the cost of membership.
