I think the spreads will be smaller in the top 4, but yeah, BD won tonight.

Can someone explain the ending for me?

This is a championship level talented group right here. Feel design might hold them back a tad.

Back to back fire runs from Crown and Bloo! Might see some movement if one of the next two have a rough run.

I kinda feel like I’ve seen this show from BD for the last decade though. Yes it’s entertaining. Was it the cleanest show in any caption? No. Are they super consistent across the board? Yes. And as long as they continue with this type of show design they will continue to win. They are very consistent with their approach and it pays off huge. Congratulations BD.

boston too.
Agree. Bloo and Crown had the best two brass lines tonight imo. Crown probably edges out bloo, but not by much. Tough to tell with the audio issues.

Definitely some intonation issues here

Easily toughest drum book
Agree completely… however I think they bit off just a tad more than they can chew. Some pretty fuzzy areas, but stupid hard nonetheless.

Everyone after Phantom seemed flat to me, and maybe Flo is the source of the weird sound stuff as I didn’t think Bloo, BD or Boston sounded that great. Perhaps the long day of challenging weather?
Boston’s guard had quite a few uncharacteristic errors and BD’s guard seemed the strongest they have been, so no idea how that will end up.
I think from an energy standpoint, Phantom gave the most. I could see them sliding up a bit this week.

I unironically think that GPG sample marching band music would make an amazing drum corp chart
It sounds like every other GPG chart lol

Guys, BD is 100% beatable.
No way in hades would DCI allow it, but imo coats should slightly edge out BD based on both of their performances today. Like I said. Not gonna happen lol.

This is incredible.
I mean, it has such the same vibe. Just can’t replicate it unfortunately. At least for me! I know there’s plenty of y’all who love this show and that’s awesome.

Is it me, or does this show feel like Great Value Metamorph 2017?

This is such a good BD show. Love it more every time I see it. I'd put money on them going undefeated this season.
Was actually just thinking this is the roughest I’ve seen their guard and brass in years…

Honestly I marched for 5 years, 2 of those years being in a top 12 corps, and 2 a top 6 corps. A few years I went into camp being about 300 lbs at 6'3". I worked my butt off and didn't accept any excuses about my size. Lost about 40-50 lbs every year and would say that I could march anything given to me. Even had a drum major tell me for a bigger guy, I can sure as hell move. Size doesn't matter (within reason). You're attitude matters.

Vanguard is this years '08 Regiment. They're led by a very strong percussion and great show design. They'll put in their real ending about San Antonio time and by finals will surge for sure. Crowns probably got the gold as long as they keep cleaning.

I marched Glassmen who used straight, and SCV who used bent. Bent leg is definitely harder to clean and define, however once you understand it, it is way easier on the body. It's also a lot easier to play your instrument with bent leg... Way more natural.
