-
Who is going to replace Paul. R?
-
CHEERS:
1. Madison Scouts - Back to finals with a force. They did the retro thing and it really worked.
2. Bluecoats - Gave everyone a run for their money this year.
JEERS:
1. SCV - A show that put me to sleep (was that show seemed to be a total 8 to 5 drill).
2. XMen - 17th.....WOW, they need to figure themselves out. Glad they broke 80....

can someone please explain to me what the judges are looking for in each of these captions? thanx

Sorry,
I love...LOVE...Phantom, but that drumline better tighten up. They look like a HS line with their drums all in different angles...tenors in an upward tilt.
....go the extra mile and LOOK THE BLOODY PART!!!!!!

This topic might be somewhere else, but I was wondering what the sizes (perc, brass, and guard) were for the Open Class guys this year. Thanks

I can't wait to see this years show.
Bound to be a crowd pleaser if I know these guys.
Good luck Dutch !!!
Is there a new director? What happened to Steve?

This is old news. Use the search function.
Well excuse me, not current on burried open class topics.

I noticed that Tom Aungst is on staff with the Spartans. Wow, this is huge for them. Will he be going on tour and teaching too, or just writing?
-
I know it's just me but, Cadets doing Bernstein = whatever. Been there, done that, I don't need another version of "variations on a Bernstein theme." Like I said, it's just me.
WHO?

This could be a very bad idea. Some students out there may audition for another corps and leave the Colts "late" as a back plan. I don't mean everyone, but some will do this. That means there could be a possibility that higher level talent may go else where.
Also, can the Colts achieve more, with everyone's cuts?
I know this may not happen, but I'm just thinking outside the box.

I wanted to hear some McNutt writing.

Star threw in the towel years ago and abandoned Drum Corps, so it really doesn't matter.
Its fun, don't be such a square...if it doesn't really matter to you , DON'T POST.
I think about Star and how they would placing in the 2000s. I would love to see what they would have come up with!

I've hear that J. Surf is going up.
I've also heard Teal Sound is too, but I'm not to sure.
Capital Regiment's website says they are looking for players, but I would assume they would come in as Open class.
As far as Southwind...I've heard nothing.
East Coast Jazz is making a push to come back, but it could be for the 2010 season.

why do we call PR...INT?
-
you forgot that they were firing jolly rancher candies at other corps in order to dent their horns.
WOW...I hope this is a joke!!!

I've managed to piece together from this thread that an ageout snare drummer a Bluecoats got drunk either before or during retreat and talked the whole drumline into playing high notes during America the Beautiful.
What do you mean, drumline playing high notes...do you mean that the d-line were playing horns, or there are drum parts during America the Beautiful they were goofing with?????
are there drum parts during America???
-
SO WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED OUT THERE????
-
Phantom + Drill = GREAT
When is the last time PR had to super crazy drill, for a show?????
-
What would the Reading Bucs do?
-
Could this be a break from Yamaha...or is Mc Nutt Yamaha endorsed?

I've seen both BDB and SCVC and was wondering how many Open Class Corps you all think will break the top 20...or at least the top 22? I'm guess BDB fo sho in the top 20.
