  1. Carl, You have got the schools behind you???? That is wonderful! I think you are off to a great start. I will definately come to see your line in competition. If there is anything I can do to help you from here, let me know. Also, to Dean who just responded, I shared the same dislike for the Glassmen back then. I have not paid much attention to drum corps for the past 30 years. I wouldn't know what to do with that third valve they added to the bugles. Give me the old rotor and piston! Jim
  2. Curl, Where are you getting the equipment? Jim
  3. I am presently out of town and wil not be back on the 12th. I will check you out later. Seveal years ago I exchanged e-mail with Tom Slade, who is an old Queen City Cadet. Jim jamesrichards@fuse.net
  4. With the Glassmen and Bluecoats in the general vicinity, it would be difficult to recruit for this corps. Als, I hear Capital Regiment is coming back. Marion has a good hall & nice equimnt, but I am afraid it wuld be an uphill battle to revive them. One of these days, I may show up at a Tradition practice. I still have my Bari chops, having been playing trombone in a big bad for the last 25 years. Jim Richards Liberty Township, Ohio
  5. Carl Gannon knows all those answers and is the best person to take the lead if this corps is to be revived at all. Jim Richards Cincinnati Ohio Marion Cadets 72, 73, 74, 75
  6. I think it's over. Time to move in with a new board and have another go at it with fresh people. At least get the drum line going. It would be a start. Jim
  7. What happened to the Cadets Web site? It's gone. What happned to the Senior Corps they were forming? It appears to me that they have shut everything down. Jim
  8. There were also members from Ohio State and Wright State in Dayton in that era. There was also some guy from a Greenhouse in Dayton that played drums. BTW- Ain't no way the Glassmen beat Marion in '74. Jim Richards
