We are up to about ten people who have express interest mostly from the north east and California. We would love to have people help in every state, or at the very least more geographical areas. Anyone from Canada? The north west? The bread basket states? Texas? Let me know.

All very good questions, and most of which I don't have answers for at the moment. I am asking for interested people to begin planning so that we can work out these sorts of details. As far as Drum Corps World is concerned they are very heavily world class weighted. We want to shine a spotlight on the open class corps, and give them the attention I, and many others feel they deserve.

So far we have five people who have expressed an interest. If we are going to really make this work then we will need alot more people from all over the country to help. If you even have the slightest interest, we can probably find a place for you on the team. Send me a PM so we can get this ball rolling.

That's exactly what I mean. I know it's a big project, but if we can get enugh people interested in the various parts of the country I think alot of people would enjoy it.

I'm mean to include pretty much everything except "world class", they get enough publicity as it is, and don't really need my help.

Due to my involvement within DCI I don't want to give away my identity at the moment. However, I am currently a high school band director who marched for several years in a now defunct, then called D3 now called open class, drum and bugle corps. I originally played trumpet, then melephone before I became drum major for my last year. I have some experience making a little money on a blog that I run, but organizing an online magazine will be a new experience for me. However, I have good management skills, so if I think if I can find the write kind of people to work with, I will be a success. I hope that helps.

I am working on developing an open class magazine and DCA, and am looking for talented people interested in writing, development, editing, photography, etc. Initially the magazine will be online only, but with the eventual goal of publishing a print version at regular intervals. It will focus on topics relevant to open class drum corps and DCA corps, their participants, their alumni, and their fans. (which in my opinion get virtually no attention from DCI) if you are interested send me an PM with your contact info, and how you are interested in contributing.
