    Hmmmmm ... I recall some wild nights with 27th and SCV at the hotel in 74(?). In fact, most of SCV's drum line and the drum major streaked the hotel hallways in nothing but aussies, gauntlets, gloves and shoes.

    We looked forward to staying in hotels for champs. Just sayin' :tongue:

    BD is also getting Cheese Bagels for night time snack...

    Unfair advantage? :thumbup:

    Recaps are up: I don't even know why I bother questioning scores anymore, especially during finals week... but how the heck does the Cadets hornline go from placing 1st and 2nd all season to 5th? I mean, seriously.

    I think Albert Lo has been reading too many DCP posts about the Blue Devils music.... puts them in 4th in rep.

    What are the odds?

    What are the chances that at every Blue Devils show this year they have the blind judging visual and the deaf judging music? Maybe I'm just a hater,....hahaha...then so be it. I cannot stand Blue Devils show this year. It rates one step below how much I dislike Bluecoats this year. Mirrors? Really? It might be the only prop more distracting and absurd than chairs for a show about 1930 (which still don't get by the way). I have lost all faith in the activity and judging. It's obvious that politics and who you know, have clouded everyone's judgment. I thought demand was worth half of your score (in essence). I guess for certain corps that totally goes out the window and we just throw arbitrary numbers on the sheet. Yes, I'm very ###### off. I was planning on going to Indy with my wife and daughter this year, but I'll be selling my tickets now. There's no point in going if they're already having the Blue Devils name plate engraved for the championship trophy.

    So you're not going to attend DCI finals because you hate one show? and you're selling your wife and daughter's tickets, but what if they liked that show, or maybe they don't care about the scores and are interested in seeing all the other corps?

    Pro team players get payed millions of dollars to tolerate boos. They're adults.

    These kids are mostly average people who pay thousands of dollars to do what they love. Plus, they're kids.

    Booing them sucks.

    Maybe this is how i should have started this thread.

    Maybe had i called myself formerCavalierbari, we would have steered clear of all of this BD stuff.

    The main point of this thread is as follows.....

    don't boo, at all... find the judges after the show and then boo if you must boo.

    2.3 points does not equal 3 points

    and finally, look at the captions. Cadets are in striking distance in ALL captions, they were about .2 - .5 down from BD in most captions... hey... they even got GE Music...

    I seriously can't believe and the past crap people pull up to fight BD with.

    I can think of things other corps said to us during my time with them(02,03, and 04). So it goes both ways, and if you don't think it does, then you need to quit drinking the koolaid of your "fave" corps...
