Yea,we switched to match grip in early 1975. I marched with Finleyville from 1973 to 1979 and was an instructor in 1980. AlthoughI played double tenors and trips. I do know we were one of the first.Why? I don't know because the snareline was still using straps and the multiangle attachement on the tdr's.
