Rifle/Sabre- (If you plan to audition on weapon, you will need to bring your own as our supply is limited. 3. Lunch will be provided to you at no extra cost What to Wear: - Please come dressed in form fitting, plain BLACK attire. No baggy pants, sneakers, jewelery or any loose fitting clothing will be permitted on the floor- Your face and your feet will also need to be visible to the staffl. Girls, please be sure to pull your hair away from your face with a tight pony tail or bun. This is primarily to ensure the safety of each individual attending as well as to provide the staff with the ability to view your posture and technique throughout the weekend. The Audition Process: -Both "A" and World Guard auditions will be held together, which can make it quite intimidating, understandably....The hardest part of the audition will be walking through the doors for the first time and not knowing what to expect. Rest assured that each individual will recieve the proper attention and necessary constructive criticism to help in the advancement of their skills. The audition process will consist of a short introduction of the Emanon Staff and Administration where you will recieve a membership packet containing important information regarding the 2012 season, followed by a 2hr movement class, next a lunch break, then resume with flag/weapon basics. Throughout the day you will learn a movement/equipment phrase in which you will peform in small groups at the conclusion of rehearsal on Sunday. Please be sure to fill out a membership form if you have not done so already so you can be added to our distribution list and recieve up-to-date information pertaining to auditions. The clinic will feature the 2011 Emanon Staff, alongside 2011 cast members who will be introducing some of the equipment and movement training techniques done at Emanon World Guard. The clinic is open to anyone regardless of skill level and is recommended if you wish to audition to be a cast member for the 2012 season. AUDITION WEEKEND #1 - A Huge Success Emanon Winter Guard hosted its first weekend of Auditions in West Milford, NJ on September 19th & 20th to an incredible group of talented performers. For two days, new member-hopefuls exhibited their skills in movement, flag and weapon - culminating a FUN weekend in a round of "Show and Tell" to each section. "If the rest of the season is ANYTHING like this weekend, it's going to be an incredible year", said Rob Watson, Designer for Emanon. 2010 marks the 10th anniversary of the guard, who'll be joined by designers John Vega, Adam Sage and Michael Amador this season. If you missed Audition Weekend #1, you've got one more chance to join Emanon Winter Guard 2010 by attending our second Audition Weekend on October 3-4, 2009 at Camp Vacamas in West Milford, NJ. If you cannot make it to auditions, please email us to discuss further auditioning opportunities. Auditions will begin at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday. Please plan on arriving a little early on Saturday to give yourself time to register and make some friends before the audition camp starts. WE ARE PROVIDING BREAKFAST FOR YOU BOTH DAYS. Yummm!!!
