I now have no corps.
Kevin, you will always have Empire Statesmen. In your heart and in your soul.

I'm sorry but the whole "International Champion" thing was a joke and a slap in the face to a certain international corps that was in DCA for quite a few years.

Being as close to the corps as I have this season, Sing, Sing, Sing was the weakest part of the show. I know a lot of hard work has turned it into a smokin' piece
-
That song is going to make the crowd cry tonight.

GO GET EM STATESMEN!!! This is it, this is the last night as The Empire Statesmen. GO SARA!!!!! Wish I could be there with all my friends

YAY STATESMEN!!! Stayed ahead of Cadets2

Anyone know if we should expect any of the recaps to be available tonight?
They can't seem to get the scores together, so I doubt we'll see recaps. In all seriousness, probably not.

an internal error...........LOL
There is an internal error alright *fists in air* haha

DCA website server crashed! LOL

I look forward to this each year, since I haven't been to DCA's since my last competing season in 2005. Thanks so much to Kevin and the gang for making this happen and making us feel part of the special night.

DCA's dropped the ball with the scores...either announce them all at once or not post just some. This is not how I remember it being done.
-
No scores announced for Open Class yet.
Bizarre, they are on the DCA website.

That was spectacular. Love that they just completely went for it. I'd love to see them kick the drill difficulty up a notch next season... if they could do what they just did musically and have a visual program matching the entertainment/difficulty/execution of their music, they'd be up there fighting with Reading and MBI. Great show. The kind of show I want to show to people who don't know what drum corps is.
They don't have a next season. The corps is done

Considering the emotion of this weekend, I don't think this is their main concern.
I understand, my girlfriend is in the baritone line
-
Clean enough... biggest problem is relative lack of difficulty compared to the corps slotted above them.
Cleanliness and forms has been an issue, too many dot mongers
-
How is visual? It has been the weakest part of their program all year
-
This corps has some big surprises, I don't know if they will use them tonight or tomorrow night.
-
Good luck Sara in the baritone line. LOVE YOU!
-
LEAVE IT ON THE FIELD TONIGHT STATESMEN! This is YOUR show! <3
-
Have the rest of the A class scores been announced yet?
-
Anymore scores updates?
-
OMG I cannot wait for Statesmen's performance tonight. It's going to be insane!
-
Suits you Kevin! I saw you at Statesmen's rehearsal in Webster but didn't get a chance to say hello. Hopefully next time!
P.S. This is the poster formally known as TenorsForWorldDomination (Adam Correia from Kingston)

Is tonight full corps retreat?
Crossmen 2014
in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Posted
Coming from a guy that was often around DCI in the 90's in an ODCA Div III corps, I remember seeing Crossmen and looking up to them, WAY UP! I still admire what those kids accomplish each year, however I am torn as to what Crossmen's identity is these days. I remember them being heavy groove, bad ###, aussie shaking, mofo's. While they haven't been a champion caliber corps, they were always one heck of a competitor. I wish to see that kind of Crossmen back. The one that brought "Songs for the Planet Earth", countless renditions of "Birdland" and Pat Metheny anyone? I don't diminish what they do now, but I guess I just miss the Crossmen I used to see. Consider that my disclaimer for the hyper sensitive folks of DCP
