  1. I just read through each and every one of your posts regarding this corps. I agree with some, disagree with others. All I can say right now, as a current member, and Drum Major for the Pioneer, is that we are working towards success. We are making the changes that fans, members, and the drum corps community are wanting to see. Sure, it might not be ALL of the changes that you want to see, but we're making some. We are ready to be competitive again, and in order to keep this corps alive, we know that we have to be. I am hopeful that we can produce a bigger and stronger corps for this coming season, but I guess only time can tell. Here's to 2011. Better Every Day. Ryan Davis Drum Major
  2. CALLING ALL BRASS PLAYERS!!! Think you missed out on your chance to march World Class this season? Wait too long to audition? HAVE NO FEAR! THERE ARE STILL OPENING IN WORLD CLASS! PM me for additional info!
  3. Last year was my first year marching with Pioneer in the contra line. At my first camp in December, I broke like crazy. My goal from that point on was to NEVER let my horn down again, and to NEVER run a lap for something I personally did. And I am VERY proud to say I achieved my goal. My horn never came down, I knew my music BEFORE I had to, and the only lap I ever got was for joking with my tech just a little too much (oops! ) Other than that, I only ran as a section or as a corps. My goal then is still my goal now: be the absolute best that I can be, no matter how hard it gets. That goal is what allowed me to walk off the field everyday with my head held high.
  4. this will be my 2nd year with Pioneer and I intend to age out with my family at Pioneer. 3 more years! not nearly enough though...
  5. We are still looking for a few low brass players and guard members! we're pretty much set on high brass i think Anyone??
  6. As a current FSU student, chances are slim for a DCI show inside Doak Campbell Stadium. FAMU or North FL Fairgrounds might be options. How about a show in Jacksonville, FL? Its not that out of the way to then go up to Atlanta for the regional Just a thought.
