Please wear all black clothing, no jewelry and have your hair pulled back. If you'd like to wear dance shoes feel free, but they're not required. We will be providing flags, but you'll need to bring your own weapon if you plan to try out for a weapon spot. Due to lack of funding, the FIU Performance Ensemble has changed their name to Horizon Independent. The university decided that they no longer wanted to fund a competitive unit so changing our name was the only option. We're excited for the upcoming season with a talented staff and dedicated membership.
