Hmmm, Cadets have any extremely proficient brass line. I find that brass spread a bit much to swallow... How is this judge? The rest of the numbers don't indicate a bad run so ....Clearly noone is on Crown's level, save for BD being a bit back. It was more to help understand what you're hearing and thats its not necessarily because they are weak or doing something incorrectly, its more of a style choice in the writing. And while I totally love the power and energy of a loud hornline, its also nice hearing things more transparent and clear at times as well.
Crown is the only group, IMO that can reach both levels of this spectrum and its why they are clearly at the top these days. We certainly agree completely on that!

They are still required to look at the content/composition/demand/performance level of the corps so your point is?What I'm trying to say is that Marie is an experienced GE judged. She put the Cadets at the top.
Lo is a new GE judge. He put Bloo at the top.
At the beginning of the season, the GE judges were encouraged to take more of the audience perspective into account during their GE assessments. And connect the dots from there.

Not sure what what you mean? Marie has always judged GE and usually does finals and Albert Lo is a brass judge. Not sure why they stuck him in GE tonight...Sounds like these new GE judges are judging closer to the new GE guidelines to me. But what do I know.

Czapinski and Lo have very different ideas about what makes an effective GE program, apparently.
She judges GE at finals, he does brass so I'm more inclined to follow her numbers.

Also probably the first show where brass was appropriately ranked this season (referring strictly to Crown's spread)

Part of the fun of the season is to critique EVERY show, and I do critique EVERY show. Funny you don't comment on the good things I've said about the Cadets, but you have no problem being a jerk when I offer criticism on the DESIGN of the show. What's even worse is that you're a former staff member and celebrity and you act like that.
I only remember your political rants. You must live in California now.

I dunno, he's the current president. I kinda object to the Reagan thing too. It's too politically charged.Well, he did say that. That is was he said. But it's touchy and politically charged for so many Americans. Just seems like a lightning rod.
Well, Obama dismantled the NASA program so Crown is kind of disrespecting our president with a space show so despite that I love Crown this year, I just won't watch them because it's anti-American, and I hate them now. And Cadets have narration and I hate them too. BD has beautiful chairs and coatracks this year and got them from Walmart where I work so I love them this season.

Seriously, I'm tired of people ranking on any corps that work so hard and put out such amazing products. I'm a Cadets homer, but thinkI don't think it is especially political either, but would have to be an ###h@/&$ to tell others they are wrong to think it is or to call them ###h@/&$'s because they do.
I'm tired of people being called haters too at the drop of a hat. It is a hurtful thing to say to someone. There is real hate in this world and artistically disliking a show design is not it.
Get a grip and some perspective people.
BD, Crown, Bloo , SCV, Cavies are all amazing this season and don't pull their shows apart like bored teenage girls.
