I see they added the cym techs after I first looked at the site. Cool!

SCV Percussion staff announced and now listed on their website. Looks like it's an all Phantom staff and Phantom alumni except for one of the two snare techs, who marched SCV under Gusseck in late 90's. No Cymbal instructor listed. Does that mean no Cym line? Also noticed Murray Gusseck is writing the battery book for both the SCV Cadet corps and the SCV Winter Percussion line, in addition to being a battery tech for The Academy Drum Corps out of Arizona. Interesting. Good to see him still writing and perhaps teaching a bit with the SCV Cadets, and working with up and coming corps The Academy (with former SCV instructor Glen Crosby). As far as SCV, I know that Paul Rennick and team had some amazing percussion sections over at Phantom (and won the title last year), and I think his influence, writing, philosophy and teaching style is much needed to propel SCV to the top again, but I would hate to see Murray's influence totally go away. His parking lot compositions, battery exercises, and his overall approach to modern drumlines is a big part of SCV, so hopefully they can retain some of that, even with Paul Rennick and team at the helm now.

I know they announced Paul Rennick quite a while ago, but on their website, the staff listing for percussion still only lists Paul. Brass, colorguard and visual have all been announced. Any reason why the percussion staff has yet to be listed? Any news or ideas on who Paul will surround himself with on staff?
