The West Sayville Golden Eagles Mini Corps is proud to announce that plans for our 2011 season are launched and under way! The Open House is to be held January 15th, from 10:00AM to 6:00PM, at the West Sayville Fire Department, located at 80 Main Street, West Sayville NY. WSGE is open to all! Come on out and see what the mini-corps experience is all about! The Program: 'Constellation Suite' , as arranged by Larry Kershner. Selections will include: Night of the Capricorn Moon - Mike Vax Pegasus - Stan Kenton Age of Aquarius - from 'Hair ' The program will provide a wide range of new musical styles and challenges for our members, as well as a few visual twists! The Staff: We are pleased to announce that Rick Roberts will assume the role of Brass Caption head for 2011. Returning as Music Ensemble Consultant/Advisor is Mr. James Riley. Scott Garner will return as Movement Coordinator/Advisor. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Frank Ponzo for his many years of excellent service and dedication to our program. His influence will be sincerely missed, and we wish him all the success in the world. The Dates: January 15th will be the date for our Open House / first rehearsal, at the West Sayville FD, from 10am - 6pm. January 29-30 Camp Feb 12th rehearsal Feb 26-27 Camp Mar 12 rehearsal Mar 26-27 camp note: camp times are Sat 12-6 and Sunday 10-3. Saturday rehearsals are 10-6. All are at the West Sayville FD 80 Main Street West Sayville NY. Come on out and Reach for the Stars with the 2011 West Sayville Golden Eagles!
