Fusion Core is pleased to announce it will be expanding its drum corps experience to include an alternative to the field corp. Core Lite will offer those individuals who are horn players and percussionists the opportunity to be a part of a world class organization and represent Fusion at the DCA Mini-Corps competition in Rochester, NY as well as parades and corporate events throughout the year. Core Lite will operate as an extension of the Core providing entertaining and unique mass appeal drum corps to our fans but in a different genre. Core Lites educational staff will consist of Alex Prince (Brass Co-Caption Head), Bo Parks (Co-Caption Head), Chris Kilian (Brass Arranger) and Mike Schmidt (Percussion Arranger and Caption Head). These music educators will support the outstanding values and musical techniques of Fusion Core and provide an outstanding experience for all who choose to participate. Musical selections and membership details will be announced at open house. Open House is this Friday March 4th at St.Gabries Church, 153 Milton Road,Oak Ridge, NJ from 8PM-10PM. For Immediate Release: Fusion Core Drum and Bugle Corps from Morris County NJ would like to announce the addition of an Honor Guard. Honor Guards have been a part of Drum Corps for many years, and this year Fusion will help continue the tradition. Core Director Holly Marino said "Fusion has always admired the Honor Guards of our competitors. We felt a little left out not being able to field one ourselves, but we were fortunate enough to have an Honor Guard Vet, Bill Levin, come along and share his knowledge and passion for Drum Corps with us" If anyone, fan, friend or Alumni wishes to join up and be a part of our Honor Guard led by Bill Levin, please comment below or reach out to Matt Steppe at mstep74@hotmail.com

This weekend, for the first time in 2015 Fusion Core will have a Full Core Camp Weekend!! On Saturday 1/24 Brass will meet from 11AM-6PM. Then on Sunday 1/25 from 8:30AM-5:00 PM Brass, Percussion and yes the DCA 2014 World Champion Color Guard will be practicing!! This has been by far the strongest winter the Core has ever had. Come down this weekend and see as all sections will be working on our 2015 Production "All Aboard" Only a few spots still remain, don't get left on the outside looking in. Fusion Core just finished up what was an amazing weekend!! This coming weekend we hit the practice field for our last Full Camp Weekend of the year. We still have One Tuba spot available. If you are an experienced marcher and are interested please send me a message or comment on here. You can be the 40th and final horn in the Fusion line this year. This is the season you do not want to miss!!!

For anyone interested in checking us out, This Saturday Brass and Percussion will be practicing and doing a parade in Secaucus. Guard will be back home at Walmart. Sunday the Full Core will be at Walmart in Rockaway.

This past Saturday Fusion performed our 2014 production "Dreamscapes" for the first time in public at the Spring Preview. Judging by the crowd response we were a hit!! Now we head back to the practice field to learn the remainder of the drill. This year we are fielding 40 Brass, 36 Guard, and a full Percussion section of 9-5-5-5. There are just a few brass spots left, a couple of Vibe spots in the pit and 1 cymbal spot to fill out the Core. This is a season you do not want to miss!! Fusion has just finished up our last indoor camp for the year and is excited to start putting our 2014 production, "Dreamscapes" on the field. We still have a few openings in the Brass Line.
