Hey guys, I'm honestly not sure if I'm in the right forum... But I'm currently entering my Soph year of High School, playing clarinet. Nonetheless, I'm still interested in possibly doing DCI someday as perhaps a conductor. My question is, what is required of conductors? What kind of attributes are expected from them? And how do auditions work? I know the concept of that for me is far away but I just don't really get it.

Hey DCP, I think this is my first post here, not sure. I'll be going to DCI St. Louis on July 18, and plan to be there all day and all that jazz... But my question is about warm ups! There are going to be a lot of Corps there that I really want to see warm up, ie Crown, Phantom, Cavis... But my question is, being used to the high school style circuit, are warm ups in between shows or what? Essentially my question is, will I be able to watch the shows I want to watch but still be able to see my favorite Corps' batteries and horns warm up? Thanks!
