I saw on The Trombone Forum that 5 minutes of research can save yourself a bunch of money and your colleagues a bunch of time. There are several threads on here comparing different brands.

I've looked on Ebay and WWBW and the cheapest I can find is about $400.

I wouldn't recommend peaking your range everyday. Try peaking every couple of days, you'll get much better results.

It's not a matter of which I sound better on, it's that I don't have access to a marching horn.

On their website I saw that they will provide some horns at the Florida audition. Unfortunately I will be attending the Mass. one. I just moved from Indiana and my new school does not have any marching brass. At my old school this would not have been a problem.

Will I be able to audition on a concert euphonium for the Boston Crusaders?
