A few things concerning the "new" Hey Jude ending...

It was not something thrown in because "corps do new endings at Atlanta."Β  This was in the design of the show for a long time.

Ever been to a Paul McCartney concert?Β  He has often ended with "Hey Jude"...not always, but often.

The show concept is the spectators are AT A LIVE CONCERT, not listening to an album.

The Beatles have so many iconic songs, but for the "general public" their most recognizable song is probably the outro to "Hey Jude."Β  (you just want to sing-along.)

Any change comes with a risk...the real answer to was it successful may not necessarily be the impact on the score, but the impact on the FANS...and it seems to be working just fine.

AND IN THE END...judges are fans too!

I can't wait to see and hear the FAN reaction at LOS.

And for those of you who liked the other ending better, just think, you got to see both! How cool is that?!

The kids are only interested in maximizing fan reaction at this point. Everyone needs to relax and enjoy drum corps.

He's a good CAD artist. Don't think this was assembled from any stock photo's. Love the similarities between the swirls and Bloo's prop circles. Beatles are actually in my eraΒ and Bloo's show has motivated me to do some research on The Beatles. Have been listening to a number of their albums. Musically, they were ahead of their time. Paul is still doing current concerts now singing some of their numbers. A lot of stuff on youtube for those interested if you don't have the albums downloaded.

Raiford is the same guy who designed the props!
