  1. Doug Thrower told me arranging this was like a drive through the countryside of Iraq. So many places where things could just blow up. In my opinion, he's perfectly crafted a very serious and emotional piece that has perfect flow from beginning to end.

That feeling you get when you watch a Bloo ballad, that is what I felt during the whole show.

FYI, he first joined the Bluecoats in 1992, the year Bluecoats first attempted the Beatles.

This is not that show 🤣💙🍁💪

There are few musical selections that can draw this out of me, But I distinctly remember having this feeling watching the Beatles Cirque show in Las Vegas.

IF Bluecoats have managed to tap into that, they win because that is some powerful ####..

This show is the real deal. So good. The horn line is special this year. Really special. I haven’t felt this comfortable with the guard ever. The talent level throughout the corps is through the roof. And I love, love, love the uniforms. Tomorrow can’t get here soon enough!

I just can't get over the fact that I got emotional. It wasn't even until after the show that it hit me.

  4. It all starts from the TOP! David Glasgow was the first paid employee of Bluecoats in 2004 (I think?) and he has created a foundational design team, many who are also now paid employees, that have pushed this activity each and every year. It is precisely why you see Bloo setting the trends. You get what you pay for, or something like that :)

You don't need to worry about Bloo right now. They are a well-oiled machine that is just getting started.
