I've found that students become a bit too dependent upon the 14a4a's shallow cup and more often than not develop a thin tone, and a pinched off upper register. But, to each his own I suppose.

Have any of you guys seen this tuba player on YouTube? I was looking through his videos and saw that he was an old Spirit contra player. You guys have to check this out, he's playing all the parts and looping things. Totally freaking awesome. He's done Jason Mraz and Adele too. So good. - TubaBillSuph el Tubah!!!
