To get a good tone out of it you really have to work extra hard, It just seems that the 5/4 DEGs were alot easyer to get a sweet sound out of it

I play on a G kanstul contras and i'm not a fan of it, i think that DEG makes better sounding contras by far. But Kanstul makes better high brass with out a question.
