Does anyone know approximately when individual corps begin selling tickets in their block allotments? I didn't do Super 3 this year.....not sure why but I regret it already, lol. I saw DCI posted tickets to the public today, but I usually prefer to buy through the corps and not ticketmaster.
Any help or insight provided will be much appreciated.

Not a joke. He actually said it. I don't know enough about the man to know whether or not he was putting it out there under an intentionally false name or if he was being genuine. But, he did say it. Here, I will screen record the video and post it.

Anyone else catch Hop's periscope from the YEA offices today? Enjoyed the look in and seeing some of the "day to day" activity. He indicated "Stoned" would be the show title but said he wouldn't elaborate more.

I'd have to agree with many on BD 2012. The Dada show. Seeing it in the movie theater, I hated it. Absolutely abhorred it. Now, I wish I could have seen it live.

I started following the activity in 1997, and I was completely addicted to it. 2006, I got married, had a career change, and somehow just stopped following closely. You could say I took a break from DCI but didn't really know why, it just happened. 2013 was my first year back at a show and coming around here frequently.
Now, I told you that to tell you this. At the time, there was a tremendous sentiment here and around the DCI community in general about Crown having been robbed the year before and how the BD show was this or that or other things. So I never saw the Dada show until last year on the Fan Network archives (I really hope this feature comes back) and for me, I have come to enjoy that show quite a bit. Not my favorite, not even close, but enjoy it yes.
BD 2013, not a chance. I've tried over and over. I. Just. Can't.

I had the same observation from in the stadium, Sect 337 at around the 30 yd line. Even with a working mic, I don't think anyone would have heard his last notes over the cheering crowd.

Are there ANY cities where a new football stadium was built and the old one was left standing?
I think that's a pretty cool-looking stadium. I wouldn't mind seeing a drum corps show in there.
I believe Detroit did. Ford Field is where the Lions play but the old Pontiac Silverdome is still standing. Albiet the roof collapsed a few years ago if I recall.

I'll try my best to stick around.
I am remaining hopeful that the organization will build on this year (hell THEY TOOK BRASS!!!!) and come out with something even more spectacular. Couldn't be anymore prouder of them this season regardless of the placement.
And they were close to winning other captions! Lots of positive momentum this year for sure.

Guess that's not TOO bad (sans the guard, and they probably could use as many vets as possible given their placement this season). Hopefully next year will be another great offering and no cheese as some are predicting.
I hope so. This year brought me back as a Cadets fan, been years since I was really drawn in by a Cadets show.
Stick around for the off season, place ain't the same without you.

We've been coming to Indy for years - same hotel. This year, everything is sold out or doggone expensive. Ouch!
Someome mentioned it already but, book early!! I booked mine in October last year. If you end up not needing it, cancel it. No charge to just make a reservation with most places.

You're like the umpteenth person who has made that false statement and time and time again this season, it's been stated that is NOT The Cadets' intention. The post directly above yours has the link that states the intent of the show.
But at least we have over 500 pages for someone to dig through. :)

The Indy city cop I talked to today said that tix sales for the IndyGP event were embarrassingly low... Under 20k. The event is wholly unsupported by the town. They only run this event every two years because of the bad crowds.
Every two years? They ran it last year too.

My better half is originally from Cincinnati so we take the opportunity to go back there as well. Fly into Indy on Thursday early afternoon, grab some lunch at Skyline Chili (Cincinnati style chili, very much a regional thing. And not everyone's cup of tea but if you've never tried it. Might be worth a shot!) And then I head to the lot. Spend the late afternoon and evening watching everyone's lot.
Do a breakfast at Maxine's Chicken and Waffles and then hit up Semis and Finals. On Sunday we head out to Cincinnati ( just over an hour drive) and go to Kings Island amusement park......we have garbage for thrill rides in Colorado so this is more than worth it if you're into this type of fun.
Fly home Monday.
Also echo others comments about St Elmo, excellent place.

I am both shocked and not surprised by this. I thought Bluecoats had the show to win, but I also think Crown's show is pretty spectacular regardless of some of the design complaints they've been getting.
Agreed. Crown's show is just dripping with goodness and then the odd transition immediately into completely triumphant Ode to Joy just makes me facepalm. I still love that show though, just wish there was a more eased transition.... It's just too.....bouncy, I think is the word someone used.
On another note, this new color palate from Cadets has me very excited.

This was my first thought too. If they're going to depart from the conventional Cadet's uni I hope it's badd@$$ery. Very intrigued by this right now!

INT has an ending that seems to work for most. Judges seem to be responding positively to INT's ending as well.
Further proof that performance order doesn't impact judge perception!

Lol, this thing is gonna hit 100 pages before the show is announced. With how early the cadets announce stuff.....that is impressive.
