Well, Mandarins have a complete package. And they keep adding, and cleaning. That is an impressive show, and probably will be one of my favorites out of the top 12.

I love these uniforms. Would WAY rather see them in these than any of the newer style costumes that were introduced this season.

Definitely a stronger product from Spirit than recent years. There's a lot to like here. While I'm sad they ditched the Kanstul brass, it does seem the Adams brass is capable of putting out a good sound.

Upon watching this, I can definitely see why so many of us thought the vocals were pre-recorded. There are effects patched in live (I assume live, anyway), much like other corps are doing with brass soloists, or BK's snare solo.

I definitely am one of those that doesn't like vocals in drum corps. However, Cascades just demonstrated unequivocally that singers can be used to great effect. They have absolutely nailed balance of vocals with the ensemble. And the singer has the best pipes I've ever heard in the activity.

Sure shocked me! I thought it was a recording as well on the DATR stream.

Well, that show will be on my replay list.

Cascades: doing singing right since 2017

Woah, I didn't realize their singing was live. She's got a fantastic voice.

For those who are watching Cascades for the first time, be prepared for a very weird juxtaposition of Shosty 10 with some singing. If you approach it with an open mind, you'll be blown away with how well it actually works.

That was great! Genesis has really brought that show together. Love their version of Pure Imagination, it's very different from SCV's 2015 rendition (which was breathtaking).

Probably the difference in temperature between outside and inside. Seems to plague this show every year.

Looks like it's going to be a rough day on the feed for me. Probably something clogging the pipeline between Oz and the US. Definitely can't blame Flo...

I still can't get hi cam to run more than a minute before the player just stops. But multicam has been smooth as silk.

I'm definitely enjoying Surf's musical program.

I love that Jersey Surf still marches a full flügelhorn section.
