I'm looking at getting a silent brass for my mellophone (live in an apartment and NEED to practice everynight). Does anyone know which one fits a marching G mellophone (I play a Kanstul). We are thinking the fluegel one, but hate to order it and find out it doesn't fit. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone -- I'm looking for a good 3-valve sop for my son. I purchased one last year from Boston Crusaders but it was not one of their better ones, and I purchased it not knowing if he was going to march in corps or not. Now, he is going to march, and I'd like to step up the quality of the horn a bit. I still don't have the funds to buy a like-new Kanstul or anything but wondering if there is some "medium grade" out there that someone isn't using. On behalf of my son in his rookie year of drum corps...thanks. :)

This will be an ever-changing and evolving site, so if you like it, please keep it as a favorite on your browser and check back periodically (and buy a shirt or two, if you agree with us). Thanks to everyone for their great support so far. We've gotten some great emails and over 500 hits in a few days. It will be a few days before we know if people are buying or just looking.
