I think the poor kid just choked. He played ok for 1 or 2 beats, then just gaaked. He tried to get back in, but was too far off. He put his hand up to his face and just stopped. Luckily the keyboards came in flawlessly after that where they were supposed to. I was recently thinking how well he played that part in the past. Perfectly all year. Imagine the pressure on him at that moment. Hopefully he got it out of his system and will be fine next week.
Wasn't his fault. The mixer board lost power.

You must be sitting pretty far back. I was hitting over 100 dB on the front row in Prelims a few years back.
Top of bottom level. Could be the app too. He has a 2nd one that reads much higher - like 80's just on crowd noise

It looked to me like the SCV synth player just stopped ... he didn't look like he was playing when sound dropped out. In other words, a brain freeze?
That's what I thought at first but it was the whole mixer board that went out

BK loudest so far. Son using a db app and they hit 80 a few times

Not my favorite show but boy does BK play the hell out of it. I could listen to them all day long. I'd say they are not lower than 6th and have their sites on SCV

I love the Cavies bones sound. I think it is EXACTLY the way they want it and IMO fits perfectly with that section of the show.
