Blue Stars, that was absolutely beautiful. There’s no other way to put it. I will remember that performance for awhile. Thank you so much for giving us that final run —- it’s one for the ages.

I want to reiterate, because they’re that good: this is the first brassline tonight to really deliver on huge dynamics changes, nuances and attention to detail, and crystal clear sounds al the way down to their ppp to start the ballad. Thank you, Blue Stars. Magnificent full ensemble sounds!!!!

As much as I loved all four brasslines preceding Blue Stars, they’re bringing us a beautiful level of nuance & control we haven’t heard yet tonight. Well executed, BS! A balanced, bright, shimmering brass sound.

I do believe that this will go down as one of the most notable design flops in recent drum corps history. I’m happy to never have to see it again. I don’t mean to be harsh, but I do get irritated when a giantly-talented corps from top to bottom is held back by nothing other than the designers. I hate that. Terrible design in every single aspect. Do better next year before your talent leaves, Cadets designers. It’s not the kids AT ALL. It’s you.

Hate the chanting, love the drums underneath. Their drumline is so extraordinarily crisp & clean. Super impressive.

Ugh. I’m thrilled none of us have to watch this again after tonight. They sound glorious, when their brass is allowed to play. It’s beyond clear that these kids are capable of so much more.

Last time to watch this beautiful corps perform the garbage show that their staff gave them. Thank god I’m drinking.

She was totally eating her nachos like a normal person, I'm not teasing at all, I just love when FLO accidentally catches those candid moments as they zoom up on the DM all intense and into it and ready to start his corps off...but with an oblivious nacho-eater right behind the intenseness. Makes for a fun shot : )

From the bottom of my heart, BK & BS --- those were two beautiful, incredible performances. Way to put both of your shows to bed for the final time this season. From all of us --- thank you both. Both of your performances were truly a treat to watch. I could not be more impressed by either corps!!!!
